Screen Test!

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

What fine scrumpings we’ve managed this week for you lovely lot.

These screens are a personal fave. They come in two sizes (230cm x 90cm and 180cm x 90cm). Think about the vehicle you bring for these, we don’t have much room for keeping them back for you.

Also in this week after Dins’ trip down to Swansea’s  Swapsies:-

  • Cargo netting
  • Plastic mesh tubes, kind of like tree guards except bunnies could chew them
  • Coir matting offcuts
  • Silver paper on the roll
  • Meat trays
  • T-shirts
  • Barbie balls
  • Small blue pots
  • Leatherette in many colours
  • Sticky back sponge blocks
  • Purple bordette
  • Gargantuous white card picture frames (bout 4ft tall)
  • Cream voille ribbonny stuff
  • Purple bordette in too
  • Sweet jars
  • Funky foamy giant jigsawlike pieces that slot together to make a playmat
  • Tiger Turf off cuts incl few biggish bits

That’s all for now folks, but there’ll no doubt be more SOON!

It could be you?

Foam Party!

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

We’re chockablock with goodies again. Plenty of new stuff including foam galore. Not so much the frothy stuff but the brightly coloured soft stuff. Give us ten minutes and we’ll have a fine piccy on the website News and Events page for you to feast your peepers on!

So here goes:-

  • Massively huge froggy foam sheets (see piccy at wre.uk.com)
  • Mega big den making foam sheets with windows in
  • Larger than life ready steady teddy foam sheets
  • Chunky tyres (could be off quad bikes)
  • Go Kart wheels
  • Tiger Turf off cuts (no huge bits, but plenty of offcuts and several 1m wide strips of a decent length including some in blue… who needs a red carpet eh?)
  • Absorbent fabric on the roll (Great for spillages and will do a season in the greenhouse for keeping seedlings and cuttings moist)
  • More crafty bits and bobs in Quality Street
  • And… More paint!!

Hooray for WRE! Even if we say so ourselves ; )

Sing a Long Now!

Yes, it has been a superscrappersparkliscious week on the blagging front. All sorts of goodies crammed in for you to cast your eyes upon. See above and below for more info.

The craft shop is looking lush, thanks to Lush and the scrap gang for putting it all our way and making it look and smell oh so very good.

This week we have mostly been scrumping:-

  • Double sided easels rrp £199 wre £25. They’re the Winsor Newton Devon models and only have tincey wincey faults.
  • Paint! Yes we’ve had another delivery of the good stuff. Lots of colours a plenty for household use. Hoorah!
  • A3 hardback sketch pads
  • Neoprene off cuts
  • Big sheets of thin black rubbery foam (kind of like a camping mat that has had a gigantic rolling pin taken to it)
  • Heart shaped mouse mats for the romantic geeks amongst us
  • Off cuts of wood that look rather like giant peg dolly pegs, great for making… drum roll… giant peg dollies!
  • Gold foil on the roll
  • Gold foil ribbony trimmings
  • Very thin sheets of A3 sized MDF with white laminate one side, great for mini whiteboards or doing clay work on.
  • Diddy white wheels about 3cm diameter
  • 5 litre icecream tubs with lids (boy did it taste good ; )
  • 20cm long metal tubes (5cm diam) With a bar one end, perfect for fixing or dangling them for clinkety clonk type music making
  • Bed knobs
  • No broomsticks (though Dins would have you believe they’re now my favourite mode of transport)
  • Beach and pine veneer shelves (aka really clean bevelled strips of wood). 15cm  depth and either 95cm or 140cm long) and 20-30p each!
  • Decent lengths of chipboard, perfect for garage and workshop shelving (46 x 188 x 2cm)
  • Skirting board, picture rails and a few more strips of pine

Lush Shelving

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

Not the usual sort of stuff we’d take in but part of a job lot and too good to turn down. These solid, wall mounting shelving units are ready for the picking and start at as little as £7.50. Each one comes with it’s own mounting bracket too.

Daisy Daisy!

Check out these chaps! They are tandemtastic! As is our latest aquisition, thanks to the guys at Motov8. New in today is this 10 speed racer tandem, get their twice as fast or half as enegetically, it’s up tp you (or the person on the backseat as they’re really the ones in control/skiving!)

This superduper bicycle for two can be yours for £95. Opportunities like this don’t happen too often on the second hand market, so don’t dilly dally on the way!
