Box Clever!

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

We’ve just collected this fabulous consignment of wooden briefcase style boxes. They come in navy or birch finish and though they’re intended for storing paints and brushes, we think they’d be great for loads of stuff. They would be great for decorating as a gift too.

Lots more loveliness in this week, including:-

Mirror effect card

Lanky legged peg dolls

Coloured stickyback plastic

Plastic tubes with holes in (kinda like giant rollers)

Candy stripe cardboard tubes

Wadding

Clear plastic tubing

Chunky plastic cable reels

Fluffy stuffing

Woodn’t it be good…?

Bright yellow plastic sheets with bumpybits (really good for sensory work)

Wonder Woman and Captain Chaos are lurking in the shadows too… really I kid you not!

Telephones of all shapes and sizes (dingaling!)

Tiger turf in mix of sizes and colours (we’ve even got some that looks lightly scorched, very fitting in this weather)

Lots of sticyback vinyl/plastic in lots of colours

Hello Scrapfans!

Dins here and I’m taking my turn at keeping you, our lovely customers, up to date with whats new in the store. Its been a busy couple of weeks just recently and we’ve been a wee bit behind on our collections- mainly due to the horror flood we had here 2 weeks ago. However all is cool and groovy now and we’re catching up!

This week we’ve been to our friends at the Gloucester store for a swift swap and we’ve been as far a field as Leicester in our hunt for quality scrap for you guys. Without further ado heres a list of whats new in the store (including the return of a couple of old favourites):

  • White plastic tubes (16cm diamater) as tall as I am.
  • More “tiger turf” including large sizes and weed suppressant
  • Massive amounts of quality carpet tiles in various threads and colours- sizes include 1 metre square, 12 inch square, rectangle about 45cm on the long side and a letterbox shape about 60cm long.
  • Sticky white dots
  • Green foam with holes in
  • A guaranteed world cup final place for England (fingers crossed)
  • We’ve 1 easel remaining- 1st come 1st served!
  • Lots and lots of fabric samples & swatches (I mean lots! from a quality high street retailer)
  • Childrens clothing (all sorts)
  • White foam on the roll
  • Different calico fabrics on the roll
  • Many different types of “quality street” art products including: watercolour boards, paint brushes, watercolour pencils, arts & craft packs, stencils, canvasses etc

There we have it, plenty of different reasons to come on down to the store!

Hopefully see you soon

Dins and The WRE team

(ps our store is lovely and cool- come in to take a break from the relentless heat!)

Lush Shelving

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

Not the usual sort of stuff we’d take in but part of a job lot and too good to turn down. These solid, wall mounting shelving units are ready for the picking and start at as little as £7.50. Each one comes with it’s own mounting bracket too.

Daisy Daisy!

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

Check out these chaps! They are tandemtastic! As is our latest aquisition, thanks to the guys at Motov8. New in today is this 10 speed racer tandem, get their twice as fast or half as enegetically, it’s up tp you (or the person on the backseat as they’re really the ones in control/skiving!)

This superduper bicycle for two can be yours for £95. Opportunities like this don’t happen too often on the second hand market, so don’t dilly dally on the way!

EASTER CLOSURE DATES

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Of course life would be perfect if we were open 24/7. We are good but not quite that good! We are, however, good enough to need a little time off to refresh ourselves, so…

We will be closed on Good Friday and Saturday.

We look forward to seeing you some other time!
